Problem

Tech Angels is a community of female founders, CEOs, entrepreneurs and investors. They needed a brand identity that would represent this unique group of badassed women in business!

Our strategy

Building the brand story

We worked closely with community founder Tony Margiotta and interviewed the community members to uncover the core values and objectives behind the Tech Angels group. This collaboration helped us define its identity and purpose with clarity.

During our in-house ideation session, we created the ‘badass’ narrative - building on the idea that the members of this community are trail blazers who get sh*t done!

How it all came together

We choose brand colours that are the polar opposite of traditional female colour pallets, to make a bold statement that mirrors the energy of the group.
We incorporated wings in the logo as the sky’s the limit for these bosses, but we avoided the cliches with striking, abstract imagery.
These women are iconic, so we turned them into various female icons, allowing the brand to celebrate the diversity
of their community.
